Veneers
Veneer application is a cosmetic procedure that can greatly improve the appearance of your smile. A veneer is a custom-made, thin piece of material which is placed over a tooth to protect your teeth and to act as a restorative option. This option is less invasive compared to other options available and helps with a lot of cosmetic issues like discoloration, minor misalignments or stains. Besides porcelain, veneers could be made using composite resin or ceramic.
Bonding
Bonding is among the easiest and least expensive of cosmetic dental procedures. Bonding is the application of a composite resin to repair a discolored, chipped, or decayed tooth. The biggest difference between veneers and bonding is bonding can be done in one visit because it doesn’t require a custom-made appliance.
Orthodontics
While most people think of cosmetic reasons to get orthodontic care, there are health benefits to aligning your teeth. Proper alignment enhances tooth and jaw function, which in turn, maximizes long-term oral health. In addition, having straight teeth make it easier for you and your dental hygienist to keep your teeth clean and in good shape.
Crown and Bridge
Crowns are synthetic, custom-made caps which are used to restore a tooth’s natural color, function or shape while bridges are a fixed dental appliance used to replace missing teeth. The biggest difference between crowns and bridges is a crown covers only one tooth while a bridge connects two teeth together to “bridge” a gap of a missing tooth (or multiple teeth). With good oral hygiene, these corrective appliances can last you multiple years.
